Delicious Homemade Pizza

Last Sunday, I had the craving to not just have lunch, but make my own lunch. I had also been saving a recipe for a very long time…for the perfect day; and that day happened to be last Sunday.

I rummaged through my cook book and found a William Sonoma recipe for thin-crust pizza. I prepared the dough just as it said in the recipe and couldn’t wait to top it with my own confections.

Recipe for William Sonoma’s Thin-Crust Pizza Dough: Makes two 10-inch thin-crust pizzas.


1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast

1 tsp. sugar

3/4 cup warm water (about 105°F)

1 cup cake flour

1 cup plus 3 Tbs. all-purpose flour

1 1/4 tsp. kosher salt

2 Tbs. extra-virgin olive oil
